Burger King Satisfries, the low-calorie, low-fat, crinkle Satisfries from Burger King will soon be removed from the menus. In North America where it was initially launched in Sept. 2013, about two-thirds of its outlets have taken the fries out of their menu. In a statement, Burger King told that 100 million guests have ordered Satisfries, but the figure is not convincing enough to continue the product. It will be launched in European markets, including U.K., Germany and Spain according to Burger King Chief executive Daniel Schwartz. Burger King came out with lower-calorie, fewer-fats French fries last year in a move to offer healthier option to consumers and to boost its image.
