Heat and Control introduces new roasting technology at SNAXPO event

Heat and Control has chosen SNAXPO 2019, their 55th year as an exhibitor, to introduce their latest snack processing innovation, the new Rotary Dryer Roaster (RDR).

The RDR advances Heat and Control’s snack line capability and enables them to offer an end-to-end solution for seasoned and coated nut snacks, including frying, dryer/roasting, seasoning, coating, conveying, weighing, packaging, case packing, inspection, and controls.

The RDR multizone convection dryer/roaster system uses the latest technological advances in dry roasting so food processors can continuously process high volumes of snack foods, such as nuts, seeds, and protein/meat-based snacks. The RDR gives operators complete control to dry or to roast in a continuous, gentle, and sanitary manner with optimal quality and uniform results.
