French potato market reportedly ‘tight with high prices’

According to a report by FreshPlaza, Francisco Moya, the director of the company Négonor in France says that “the situation on the potato market is very tight. Stocks are low, and we are starting to take from the reserves.”

As the weeks go by, the French potato is expected to become even scarcer. Moya told FreshPlaza that “fortunately, we have stored products specifically for this time of year. Prices are very high and we continue to see some demand on all markets, whether it is in southern Europe, central Europe or France.”
